2019 will mark 5 years of driving for Danny. Danny’s biggest influence in the sport is Doug Irvine, to who he was a barn hand for many years. He truly enjoys working with new horses and Danny’s positive attitude and wiliness to learn from other drivers has been one of the biggest reasons he has seen such growth in a short period of time. Danny’s consistency in 2018 showed by having 8 Top 10 runs and 13 top 10 runs along with 2 top 5 show finishes and 5 top 10 show finishes along with making the Onion Lake dash. Danny’s hard work and perseverance earned him an invite to the 2019 Calgary Stampede as 1 of 3 rookies. Danny had an impressive end to 2018 by winning the 2018 CPCA safe driver award and his horse Steve won the 2nd 2019 CPCA Equine of Excellence Outriding horse award.
