Coming from a long standing Chuckwagon Family, Lane has been around the sport his entire life. His biggest influence in the sport has been his father, Luke Tournier, who won the Calgary Stampede in 2005 and 14 CPCA Show Championships. This will be Lane’s third year with the CPCA, finishing 13th in 2018 which improved his 2017 finish of 16th by 3 spots. Lane had 3 Top 10 runs and 10 top 10 runs in 2018 as well as 1 top 5 show finishes and 3 top 10 show finishes last year. Lane’s strong family chuckwagon roots and the strong finish he had in 2018 helped Lane to secure an invite as 1 of 2 demo 101 drivers at the 2019 Calgary Stampede.

Favourite Meal: Medium rare prime rib, crab legs, and a baked or mashed potato.

How did you get into Chuckwagon Racing: I got into chuckwagon racing because I was raised in it. My mom and dad decided to start racing the year I was born and it continues to be the only thing I’ve ever known during the summer months.
