CPCA Outrider Dustin Gorst returned to the saddle in 2010 after suffering a season ending injury early in 2009.  The former CPCA and Calgary Stampede Champion Outrider would be in tough having to dethrone 2009 Champion Rory Gervais who has been one of the top CPCA Outriders since coming on the scene in 2008.

For the past 2 years DON LAING TRAILERS has brought added excitement to the CPCA through the sponsorship of the CPCA PRAIRIE RACING SERIES Championship Trailer.  In 2009 it was Neal Walgenbach hooking up and driving to victory and in 2010 Ray Mitsuing edged out Gary Gorst to capture the coveted prize. Gary Gorst driving for the Diva Darlins held off a hard charging Brian Laboucane to win the 2010 WESTRIDGE GMC CPCA Finals Dash Sunday.  Turning off barrel #2 Gorst out turned Roger Moore (Barrel #1) to take the lead with Wayne Knight and Brian Laboucane on the outside. 

Gorst pulled away down the backstretch and lengthed the margin heading into the 4th turn.  Brian Laboucane manouvered his Sidekicks Express outift back along the rail and suddenly the gap shortened to a horse length at the wire.

Brian Laboucane recorded top day money on Saturday and benefited from outriding penalties by Ray Mitsuing to capture a spot in Sundays Championship Dash.

Gary Gorst, Wayne Knight, Roger Moore and Brian Laboucane will line up in the Championship.  Gorst will have the 1st choice of his barrel position, Knight will choose 2nd, Moore will choose 3rd and Laboucane will wait and see what's left

6 Time Canadian Champion Brian Laboucane is looking to qualify for Sunday's Championship Dash and make it 7 titles and he came one step closer to achieving that after taking top day money Friday with a time of 116.79. 

Turning off barrel #2 in heat 8 Laboucane stole the rail from Shane Nolin and outlasted the hard charging outfits of Vern Nolin and Jim Knight to finish in front by 2 lengths.
